The Des Moines European Heritage Association hosted a Christkindlmarket last weekend.
Since this was a German-inspired event, Daphne and I split a Hog Father. BBQ Bacon Kraut, you were better than I expected.
I wouldn't call it sexy, but the pretzel was very good, and it made Char happy.
Say what you want about Millennials, but they sure made day-drinking socially acceptable. I'm not sure that beer and school buses should mix, though.
